Terms of use
Last updated October 15, 2026
Eradle (https://eradle.com) is a free history and geography game run by the operator of Eradle. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
Using Eradle
- Eradle is free for personal, non-commercial play. You may share your results and screenshots.
- Please don’t disrupt the site: no automated scraping that overloads it, no attempts to break its security, and no copying the whole game or its question sets to run elsewhere.
- We may change, pause or end any part of the site at any time.
- None of this limits your rights under the licences of third-party material listed on the credits page.
Historical accuracy
We check every date, border and flag against published sources and cite them, but history is complicated: sources disagree, borders were disputed, and dates can be uncertain. Eradle is a game, not a reference work. A map shows the situation in a simplified way and does not take sides in any territorial dispute. If you spot a mistake, use Report an error; we fix confirmed errors quickly.
Content and credits
The game, its design, text and question sets belong to the operator of Eradle. Flags, maps and other material from third parties are used under their own licences (public domain, Creative Commons and others), listed on the credits page. Those licences, not these terms, govern your use of that material.
Ads and links
The site shows ads provided by Google. Eradle links to other websites, such as Wikipedia, for sources. We are not responsible for their content or for products advertised on Eradle.
No warranty
Eradle is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise that it will always be available or free of errors, or that your scores and streaks (stored in your browser) will never be lost.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the operator of Eradle is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Eradle. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for intent or gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Privacy
How we handle data is explained in the privacy policy and the cookie and storage notice.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of Mexico, without depriving consumers of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where they live.
